This 1901 Melbourne and Metropolitan Board of Works map shows the Denton Hat Mills in Nicholson Street, Abbotsford. The mill was the first steam-powered hat mill in Australia putting that new technology to good use in the production if hats. This photo has been produced using the technology of the digitized versions of these maps on the State Library of Victoria website and was taken on an Apple iPhone 5 using further technology.
