The topic was east Clifton Hill, starting at Hall Reserve, intersection of The Esplanade and Spensley Street, following the Merri Creek to talk about bluestone quarries and abattoirs, inspecting the oldest houses in Collingwood, and finishing for refreshments at the Royal Hotel on the corner of Spensley St and Berry Street.
