Two new Notable people of Collingwood have been added. Both women were dedicated head teachers, but there the resemblance ends. Charlotte Lamb was very much an unsung heroine, bringing her kindly approach to teaching the inmates at the Home of Hope orphanage in Easey Street. Flora Pell was very well-known as the head teacher of the Collingwood School of Domestic Economy and the author of the widely acclaimed and extremely popular publication Our Cookery book which went into dozens of editions.
