AGM dinner and Guest Speaker Judy Maddigan

Our AGM will be held on Monday 21 August at the Yorkshire Stingo Hotel. The guest speaker will be Judy Maddigan, the first woman Speaker of the Victorian Legislative Assembly. Her topic is
Victoria: the last State to allow women to vote and stand for State Parliament.
Judy has been a member of the History Council of Victoria and is currently President of PROV’s Public Records Advisory Council. She is an entertaining speaker and this event will allow us to celebrate the centenary of the 1923 bill which at last allowed women to stand as candidates for Victorian State elections
