Our recently added page under Resources – ‘Collingwood Women’ – has a fantastic new addition. The story of World War I nurses, often overlooked in the commemoration of male soldiers, has been researched by an industrious member of our committee. Nurses provided a crucial service, and some of them sadly died as a result of their service. Two nurses are included on the impressive Collingwood Honour Roll in the RSL hall in Hoddle Street, and important information on these and other nurses has been researched and collated.Take a look – you will be impressed!
This page will continue to be added to and updated over the coming months.
