After two years with no ‘live’ walk due to Covid, we are thrilled to once again be resuming our annual guided History Walk. We will be covering the area of Abbotsford bounded by Johnston, Gipps, and Nicholson Streets. Find out where the name Abbotsford came from, where Collingwood people used to go for a swim, and which house might be the oldest in the area.
Meet in St Helier’s Street Abbotsford, outside the house numbered 16. The Walk will last about two hours, ending near the starting point. After the Walk ends we will go to Cam’s in the Convent site for a coffee or glass of wine accompanied by more historical chatting.

CHS members have free entry to our Walks. For others the entry fee is $10, payable in cash (no coins please) on the day.
Please wear suitable shoes for walking on the riverside path and up some steep steps.

NOTE THAT DOGS ARE NOT PERMIITED.
