History Walk

9 November @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm AEDT

$10

Our annual History Walk is held on the second Saturday in November and looks at a different area each year. This year it will be covering part of west Clifton Hill. The starting point is the bandstand in the Darling Gardens, Clifton Hill.
While the Walk proper takes about two hours, we will retire to local hostelry the Clifton Hill Brewpub (corner Queens Parade and Wellington Street) at 4 pm for refreshments and chatting.
The Walk is free for members but $10 for non-members. Cash only, no coins.
This year’s walk is not a long or demanding one in terms of distance and terrain, but do wear comfortable shoes, think of sun protection, and bring water if it is a hot day.
Copies of ‘I should be glad if a few elms and oaks were included’: the Darling Gardens, Clifton Hill, by Tina Meyer and Graeme Loughlin will be available for sale at the special price of $10, cash only.

NOTE: No dogs, smoking or vaping permitted.
