Normally the second Saturday in November is a day to look forward to our annual history walk, which has been conducted for many years. Unfortunately Covid has put a dampener on our plans. However we have prepared notes for a walk you can take yourself. You can find the notes under Walks and Talks, which can be found under both Resources, and Participate.

The area covered is centred around Victoria Parade and Wellington Street with a theme of the changing view lines and the increasing obscuring of beloved landmarks from view in recent times as a result of the extensive redevelopment in this area. But still a number of fascinating 1850s and 1860s buildings to be seen!
