In 1918 and 1920 the world was hit by a deadly epidemic of influenza, colloquially known as ‘Spanish flu’. It is believed to have killed more people than the Black Plague. Historian Mary Sheehan addressed our AGM to described how this pandemic affected Melbourne (including Collingwood). A report on the talk will be added shortly.
